Questions
Common questions
What does our site need to get started?
A doctor or nurse on site, a tablet or laptop with stable internet, and basic equipment such as a BP monitor, pulse oximeter and ECG. We help you set this up and train your staff.
Is this allowed under Indian rules?
Yes. India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (2020) allow registered doctors to consult by video, and we follow them for consent, records and prescriptions.
What if a patient needs hospital care?
The doctor writes a referral note and we help the patient reach an appropriate hospital. The choice always stays with the patient.
Can Carevya handle emergencies?
No. In an emergency, call 108 or 112, and go to the nearest hospital.
